Great bowl for a powerful mixer. Unfortunately my mixer broke and since DeLonghi is no longer making it I sent it for repair. After waiting four months for DeLonghi to send the repair shop the necessary parts, I demanded my money back on the mixer. The bowl is great though and I'll use it in other ways.

If you own the DSM7, 7-quart mixer, the extra bowl is one of the best accessories you can buy for it! It will help you save time when making chiffon cakes and other recipes which feature beating egg whites and yolks separately for incorporation later.
This bowl also saves me time when I am making several things in succession, I don't have to wash up and wait for one bowl to dry, I can move on and worry about cleanup later!
I particularly like this model, because it has handles. They make seating and unseating the bowl in the mixer stand much easier. The model without handles is hard to unseat if you have wet hands!
