This is my first kitchenaid mixer and I am very pleased. I have been told for years that these mixers are the best around, and I have to agree. I love it. And it being pink is an added bonus. If you purchase this mixer please register it so that $50.00 goes to the breast cancer foundation. Alot of women are struggling with this horrible illness and with our help a cure might be found.

The pink kitchenaid mixer is fabulous. Besides the obvious fact that it looks great, it has made my baking an absolute breeze. I had only owned hand mixers in the past. I had no idea what I was missing until I fired it up for the first time. I am an avid baker. The mixer has enabled me to be much more efficient. I can produce twice the output in half the time. I recently entered the Georgia Strawberry Festival Cook-off. I produced three recipes. My mixer made this process so much more enjoyable. By the way, I won second place for my pie and third place for my savory dish!
Since buying the mixer, I have made pies, cakes, quick breads, candies, frostings and whipped creams with the greatest of ease. The plastic guard is especially great when adding powdered sugar, which usually flies everywhere. The beaters are very easy to attach and remove. There is a choice of six speeds, beginning with stir. Another nice feature is an adjustment screw that allows one to move the paddle up or down in the bowl. It is such a well made machine. The handle on the metal bowl is a real help. I often make artisan chocolates, candies and cooked frostings. I can easily use the bowl over a pot of boiling water at the stove and then simply move it to the mixer to complete the job. I recommend buying an additional bowl if you do scratch recipes. It saves me from having to stop in mid stream to wash the bowl for reuse. I highly recommend this machine.

I don't have any Kitchen Aid appliances that aren't great! The stand mixer makes everything easy. Bread making is so much easier and big batches of cookies are a breeze. The fact that a donation was made to the Susan Komen Foundation was a great bonus (although it's not automatic - you have to check your paperwork). This was a gift for my daughter because she couldn't live without one after using mine!
