KitchenAid makes great products, and the mixer cover is no exception. The side pocket is a neat addition and very handy for instruction/recipe booklets. I would recommend this cover.

I received a KitchenAid stand mixer as a gift from my son and daughter-in-law. They had wanted to give me a red machine, but could only purchase white. This red cover provides a perfect splash of color in my kitchen. The side pocket is convenient for storing the mixer cookbook and flat beaters. The cover also keeps the bowl clean, so I don't need to rinse the bowl before using. The cover is well-made and, though slightly longer than it needs to be, works fine on my 4 1/2 quart mixer.

I bought this for my mom after using one I had also received as a gift. Does a great job of keeping out dust, pet hair, etc. that might be floating around the house. I'm not especially keen on the outside pouch designed to hold the mixer attachments, as it doesn't have a flap to cover it. I end up putting my mixer attachments in the bowl since the outside pouch would allow them to get dusty if put there. Overall - a much better option that just draping your KitchenAid with a dish towel or nothing at all.
